AVOCADO-JASMINE SHAMPOO

Normally, the essential oils of avocado and jasmine are mixed together and made into a sensual massage oil. However, made into a shampoo, it not only holds the aphrodesiac qualities of the original mixture, but it makes hair sensually soft and lusterous. It moisturizes and smells incredible.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup Natural Shampoo Base

1/2 cup aloe vera gel

Essential Oils:
3/4 teaspoon avocado oil

3/4 teaspoon jasmine essential oil

Method:
Mix together all ingredients.

Place into a clean container preferably with a screw-on lid.

Let mixture set for a few hours to allow to thicken and the scents to take hold.

Work into hair as usual and allow to sit for several minutes.

Rinse as usual and style.

PUMPKIN PIE SHAMPOO

Believe it or not, you use real pumpkin pie spice for this recipe. Don’t make it if you’re hungry or on a diet. This shampoo is has an absolutely delicious scent that will bring back those warm feelings of home.

Ingredients:
1 cup of Natural Shampoo Base

2 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice

2 tablespoon glycerin

1/2 cup water

Method:
Mix pie spice and water in a heavy bottomed pot and bring to a boil.

Let boil gently for at least twenty minutes.

Allow to cool slightly and add basic shampoo mixture and glycerin.

Mix well.

Use as you would your regular shampoo.

Clarifier for Heavy Buildup

Ingredients
3 tablespoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons creamy honey
1/4 teaspoon water

SAVE FOR LATER
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1 1/2 cups cool water [the cooler the better]

Directions
Mix ingredients together to form a paste. Add additional water, a few drops at a time, if the mixture is too thick. Shampoo hair as usual. Apply mixture to hair and leave on for up to five minutes. Rinse hair as usual. Poor Cider Vinegar and water mix through hair, do not rinse again [the cider vinegar scent will very quickly dissipate]. If your hair is “squeaky clean” apply a light, silicone-free conditioner or silicone-free leave-in conditioner. This is best used for first-time clarifying, by those who use a full line of hair products that include silicone that have left behind a heavy build-up, or those who clarify rarely
